Using the correct image dimensions for each social media platform is crucial for making your content look professional. Images that are the wrong size get cropped awkwardly, appear blurry, or lose important details.

Instagram uses square 1080x1080 for feed posts and 1080x1920 for Stories and Reels. TikTok videos should be 1080x1920 (9:16). YouTube thumbnails work best at 1280x720, while channel banners need 2560x1440.
